Shibam (aka Shibam Hadhramaut) is a town in Yemen famous for its mud brick tower houses and having the tallest mud buildings in the world.
Shirakawa is a town in Gifu Prefecture, Japan known for the historic village of Shirakawa-gō, it features a unique Japanese building style called gassho-zukuri and has lots of minka homes.
