Hobby Complex 07 - Monster Hunter Papercraft

Sloooooow day today, not much papercrafts, here's a few pics of a Monster Hunter papercraft to ease the anxiety ^^

If any of you were lucky enough to be at last week's Hobby Complex 07 this is what was waiting for you - Monster Hunter: Yian Kut-Ku papercraft and barrel set - all for 1800 yen.

The Yian Kut-Ku is a boss monster and one of the smaller fire-breathing bird wyverns. They live in the jungle, forests, and swamps. They look like velociraptor with wings and flaps ^^.

Urban Paper Launch Party and Papertoy Show

Announcement time ^_^

From our good friend Matt Hawkins of Custom Paper Toys, about the recent release of his Urban Paper book:

I'd like to invite everybody in the Los Angeles area to come out on May 2 and help us celebrate the release of Urban Paper. Nicebunny, Christopher Bonnette and myself will be on hand to sign books. There will be a papertoy art show too featuring one of a kind works from many of the designers featured in the book. See ya there!

This party will be held at Mobius - 3300 W.6th Street Los Angeles, CA 90020 - this is in the heart of Koreatown.

Fiat Loves Papercrafts

Fiat Argentina is promoting their mini XUV, the Fiat Idea Adventure, for the South American market with a cool print ad campagin featuring papercrafts. They make comparisons between the office, home, and filing room against the desert, jungle, and mountains - the whole point being its better to be outdoors (in a Fiat Idea Adventure of course) than indoors.

This fantastic creation was brought to life by the talented folks at LeoBurnett.com ad agency. I'll send a quick email to them and see if there's any chance for a pattern ^_^

Killzone 2 Rewards You With Papercrafts

It's official, Killzone 2 will be providing unlockable bonus content that would include papercrafts. Just read a post from the PlayStation blogs posted by Victor Zuylen (Killzone Community Editor), here's the best part:
